Hurst Dual gate w/ a 4 speed?

Hey I am fairly new to all if this I have a general mechanical knowledge but I have never worked on transmissions or there linkage,

So my question is can you use the Hurst Dual Gate with a other then 3 speed trans?

They made a console version for 3rd gen Camaros that were for 4 speeds. All are now discontinued so any modifications would be from E bay ones.. Not sure if there is enough throw to use the 3 speed one with OD/4th in the N area as well as N.

i used one on my buick with a 200r4 works good. i bought the one for the 3rd gen camaro.

The overdrive conversion puts
overdrive in the neutral position.
Low, second, and drive are normally located.
