      18's on a Monza?

Has anyone run, or have pics of an Monza w/ 18's in it? I can ger a set of Boss 338's pretty cheap but dont know what it'll take to get them to fit. The fronts are 8" wide & the rears are 9.5" wide.

No you would never fit them on Monza without super low profile tires and the ride/handling would be crap. also about 7 or MAYBE 7.5 with 17s can be fit.
See big issue is a tire over 24 in tall or too wide is impossible to fit 215/35/18 is as short as they make and its 23.9 tall according to my book. The rears will fit with proper offset and swapping in the 4wd S10 rearend.
I am working on a set up to install a triangulated 4 link or possibly parallel 4 link with watts link in back. I a, trying to keep it bolt in then wher it can be tacked welded for more strength later on to do away with the torque arm.
BUT if handling isnt your big thing just driving take a set of S10 leafs and cut then down for swing arms, grind off the spring pads and reweld on s set of new ones after setting pinion angle at 2.5degrees down while sitting on wheels and tires.
Now you can use a 17x7 or have a 17x8 cut down in front. big issue is that your going to need a wheel spacer as a 15x7 w about 3.5 back space fits good, my 77 has a Ultra/ARE Outlaw II on front in 15x7 and fits good, 15x7 4.5 back space ralleys didnt fit so good in front, and rears needed 3.5 back space bare minimum with my 86 S10 2wd rear end which is SAME width as stock.
I dont have my measurements in hand right now but the 4wd rear end will/should fit by my measurements and be able to use(I think I remember )4 1/2 back space no spacer.

I am working on air ride also as I live 30 miles from ridetech and have some connections!
Mine is hopefully going to be a long rod 302 sbc with small twin turbos! Also using an LT1 intake on this combo and may even be using double hump head as the numbers work and I have a set already done-ish with big valves and all the "race" machine work done. Just gotts do smae fitting up and testing to see what Ill need to modify.

Well.....darn. I really wanted something to fill in the large wheel openings and not mini-tub it.
