Hey im getting ready to order my wayne due subframe for my 70 trans am. Do you think I should spend the extra cash and get the C5 frame instead of the C4. This car will not see the track much. I love the vette feel but would rather have it on my ta body. So will i feel a difference? It will also have the irs. Let me know what you guys think.

That depends if he worked out the geometry issues, I'd go with the tried and true C4 set up. Well maybe not. Can you PM the C5 price?

mr quick i dont have prices, but from the search i did i found the bare frame should be about the same. the c5 parts is whats more expensive. i also read its getting hard to buy new parts without a c5 vin and i read something about the lower ball joint. something about also having to buying a the lower a arm when replacing the lbj. i dont have exact info cause i only use my works computer but ill try to search again. thanks

Most newer cars are like that, the BJ comes with the arm. Thats why never buy a control arm without inspecting them first...might be a GM tech selling a warranty return part.
