Hi ! I have a Firebird -68 with DSE mini tub and 4-link. I will run Vintage Works V48 (11x17 rear) but I need advise about tires. Since I will use 17" wheels there are not to many options. I have found Michelin PS2 and Kumho Ecsta XS KU36 in 335/35-17. The Michelin is significant more expensive compared with the Kumho. Which should I choose ? Magnus

With an 11 inch wheel in a 68 camaro, your better off going with a 315. There are plenty of choices there. I like the Nitto NT05.

If you stick with a 335/35-17 then check out the Toyo RA1's. They are competition tires. They tread depth is less then normal tires, but higher then most competition tires. If you don't drive alot, then they are good choice since they can handle more power and provide superior handling. They were price well.

I think BFG makes a 335 also.

My bad. Right after I posted I realized that you were running 17's not 18's, so disregard my comments about the RA1's. The R888's do come in a 315 as Ken suggested.

Popular Hot Rodding did a complete under 200 tires with sizes. I run Nitto NT05 on my 75 TA

Another vote for the Nitto NT05 tires. They are awesome!
