Mast Motorsports is pleased to share the dyno results of our RHS based 466 using a set of our PXR Canted Valve heads and Hilborn Individual Runner system. This was our first chance to dyno using our PXR Canted Valve Heads and we feel the results speak for themselves. The engine will find its home in a 56 Chevy and will utilize our new M-120 WBO2 ECM with Bank to Bank wideband closed loop control.

466 Cubic Inch, 4.300” Stroke 4.155” Bore
RHS Tall Deck Block
Callies Dragonslayer Crankshaft and H-Beam Rods
Mahle Custom Canted Valve Box in Box Pistons
Mast Motorsports PXR Canted Valve Heads
Hilborn Individual Runner Intake
Solid Roller 60mm Cam Core
Runs and Dyno tested on 93 Octane
870 Peak Horsepower at 7800 RPM using 93 Octane!

Huge - HP and Tq cross over @ 5250 as usual, but HP peaks @ 7700 and Tq @ 6500. I'm a fan...!

Sweet.. interesting to compare that to the 461 (4.155 bore x 4.250 stroke) LS engine I just did using your Black Label heads. We made about the same torque but you had an extra 120 hp due to being reved so high. I imagine this was due to the solid roller cam and increased air from the uber bitchen heads.
I would be interested in the cam specs.. also, if I sent you my dyno file could you overlay it.. would be an interesting comparison between a hyd and solid engine, assuming our cams aren't so far apart.
Must sound crazy good reving that high..

The peak numbers are extremely impressive, but look at the torque curve as well.... 400ft-lbs from 2500rpm up! Pretty darn good for engine designed to spin that high.
