Ill be picking up my flares tomorrow in Houston. The flares add 3 or inches per side on the rear and 2" in the front .Just waiting on my 345/40/17 and front wheels and tires.

This is what the looking im going for. I order my wheels and tires through driversinc.

YES! Please keep us posted. I have the V48's on my 68 Camaro and get so many compliments. As well, my dad has a black 70 Vette...and wants my wheels. So this will be a great tease for him!

I got these wheels because I got tired of seeing tt2s lol. These will on vette look good. A 70 is one of my favorites. Mines a 73, I swapped in a ls1/t56 during the summer so now I need to look as good as it sounds.

Gotem off a guy in houston for 375 but they are from ACI for 700. I think MidAmerica has the same ones for 600

Are you doing this yourself? Are those flares bonded to the fiberglass underneath, riveted in place, and then once dry, do you finish them?

I'm still on the fence about flares for my '72.

I'd like to run the 12" M/Ts like on my Trans Am (but on vintage 15X10 Gotti replicas), and I think I can squeeze them in w/o flares if I get the offset trailing arms and narrow my stock gymkhana spring. Its funny, but 10" wide wheels just don't look that wide anymore:(

Yeah I am. These are the first pics i did. I centered the flare better around the tire . The flares get bonded with a smc adhesive to the body glass. let dry then glassem in and fill with filler
