View Full Version : Pontiac to chevy engine mounts

Has anybody tried using these?

Seen some pictures here using the chevy mounts but they seem to sit to far forward on crossmember.

Well I bought them can find my camera but using the truck brackets the power steering pump hit. This was using the stock frame mount bolt holes. Re-drilled the holes one inch back and then had stock pulley hitting, replaced with smaller pulley and looks real good. Will post pictures as soon as I can.

I didn't have a problem. Just bolted smallblock Chevelle mounts on my GTO. Those mounts look like they move the engine forward or something...

Those look like they move the frame mount position to the chevelle position and use the BOP mount bolt holes.
I bought a pair of small block chevelle monuts ($10 on ebay) for my 72 Olds and the frame was already drilled for those mounts.
