I got a complete 98 & up LS1 Camaro rear disk setup from ebay a few months ago. I cleaned up all the pieces and had the brackets zinc plated. I took the PBR Calipers apart, and took them down to a place to get powder coated. The said they'd done calipers before....

Anyhow, I get them back today, and see they sandblasted the heck outta the psiton chamber!!! No more smooth surface to create a nice seal.

Anyhow, does anyone know of a good source I can order some replacements?

Joe,

You can get red Z06 calipers for around $70 or so from GM Parts Direct. I'm not positive, but they should bolt right up in place of the LS1 calipers (double check this info though), I know that a lot of 4th gen guys swap the red calipers for the stock ls1 units.

You can also get the regular C5 calipers(same thing, just not red) from GM Parts Direct, but I think they're a little bit more expensive.

If I remember correctly, 'A1 Cardone' also has great prices on new, complete units as well.
