Does anyone have information on wheel and tire sizes ran on trans am cars that raced
in the late 60's through the 70's?

a lot of them ran minilite wheels 15x8 with goodyear blue streak G7 tires. 6.00-15 in front 7.00-15 on the rears.

Minilites came along in 69. Previously, they used torq thrusts.

That is correct.
Teams used a bunch of magnesium AR 200S wheels too but they kept breaking out the centers.
That's what pushed Penske to find the strongest wheel possible...the Minilight.

those team 3 wheels are bada**. They look like the wheels George Poteet had made for his 69 firebird being built.

They are the same wheel. Scott from Team III had the wheels made for him...and I have a set to! :)

If you need wheels like the mini lite but 17" or larger, look at NewGen wheels
