      making 345's fit???

I tried to use the search engine (my friend) but didn't see what I was after.

I recently did the DSE tubs on my 67 camaro. I cut the frame back more than the directions say to in hopes to make a little more room.

I talked to the DSE guys on the phone and they tell me that the 315's are recommended. I see lots of camaros that have 335's. Then there is a few camaros out there with 345's! How are they getting them to fit using stock frame rails?

      I am using a G-link with a narrowed rear end. I believe it's 55''? I will re-measure to make sure.

If anyone has pictures from under the car to show the mods to make the bigger tires fit I would like to see them.

      Thanks.

They recommend that size so you don't have an annoying tire rub.

      ^^^ I agree
thers not that much difference between 335mm and 345mm it'll varie what tires you used some tires have wider sidewalls, bfg t/a drag is one of them.

Its easier to have the wheels and tires you want, put them wher you want it and measure it from wheel mounting surface and subtract the break and axles. Thats going to be your rearend housing measurement from end to end.

If you already have the rear end built, ask somebody here for wheel size and backspacing for the rearend measurement you have.
