I plan on going with 18", and Iam lowering rear 3"and fronts 2"with stock chassis. I Havent decided on tire size yet. either (fronts 225/40-18 rears 255/40-18). or (fronts 245/40-18 rears 275/40-18) Ive narrowed it down to these choices.intro Matrix, twisted matrix, newgen 500s, intro v-rod , boze mesh, or rated -x. Is it possible to photochop these wheels. That would be extremely helpful. Thankyou in advance. Sorry for the many choices. :)

I like the NewGen. I think the twisted Vista will look dated quicker than anything. The Mesh would be a nice look if you want a more progressive look.

these two and as mentioned before, get the widest wheel/tire combo possible,I'd even massage the fenders to fit bigger combo.

My vote goes to the MESH.
Just a mean looking rim.

Wheel choice is a personal opinion. What one person likes another my not care for. You can drive yourself nuts looking at wheel choices. Then add a finish to them and it changes your thought process all together. There are 100's of wheel choices and finishes to personalize the finishing touch to your project. But in the end go with what you like. You will be the one looking at them every day and also the one that has but in the hard work to lay out the cash.
If your interested in driving yourself a little more crazy with choices take a look at our web site in our gallery images.

thanks guys. I wish I could get a better visual, that would help alot! Ill check out your site and get alittle crazyer. I did find a visualizer that aided alot, just didnt have a wide variety of rims to choose from. Check it out! One wheel is rated x, and the other is close to the v-rod or matrix style. Of course it doesnt look as good as if you did a PHOTOCHOP..HINT HINT... bUT iAM GETTING A CLOSER IDEA ANYWAY. kEEP THE INPUT COMING.PLEASE. tHANKS:thankyou:I just added another photo of a 67 firebird with v-rods.

I kinda dig the Mesh for your particular car. Mesh-spoked wheels have always been favored by the Firebird camp, as they sort of tie into their 2nd/3rd gen heritage.

I've been wanting to see this particular wheel on a Firebird, as I fell the spoke pattern more closely resembles the late 70s pattern.

I'd be glad to assist you on whatever you decide :)

Wow Tony, that DPE wheel is fricken awesome. They may be one of the more undiscovered brands in our niche. They have some amazing designs available.

It seems like alot of you are digging the mesh..I dont know if Iam a fan yet. I dropped the birds rear yesterday and took her for a spin. I got slight rubbing on the right inside tire over dips on the expressway. Right now I have some meaty 275/60-15. I measured the backspacing and it was 5.25..I measured from the inside lip to the flange. so I think i got it right. Well anyway hear is a pic of how it looks now. I will be dropping the front soon 2". I also took a pic of a wheel I saw on a 77 grand prix at a cruise last night, ralley 2 billet 18". Now I have more choices...dammit:confused::confused:
