I was quoted $375 to cover my rear seats to match my new Rally buckets. $275 If I get the material from procar assuming I can...

This upolstery shop is well known and does high end work in some pretty high end rods so quality should be top notch

Is the $275 including new foam padding or springs? Seems a little on the high side to me.....

no foam or spring work

Ive read a few posts on another site stateing $200 to do the same work but of coarse they are in another state..... Unique autosports (Unique whips) charged 20g to install a subwoofer into a boxster so I guess $375 shouldnt suprise...

Is Unique the ones that gave you the $375 quote?

You said that you might could get the material, but does the material already have the required stitching to match the front seats?

No not Unique I couldnt imagine what they would charge.

The material is just yardage no stitching. Procar wants $35 per yard and Id need 4 yards by what the shop said. which also makes no sence because the rear seat cover procar makes for the camaro which just barely doesnt fit cost $95. so the material cost more than the already made cover....HHHMMMM found another local shop will try in the AM..

well $375 seems to be going price in my area. Was just given a quote of $400 from a inner city bling type place. Funny thing is his written quote was written on the flip side of some poor womans invoice containing her credit card number including security number address email cell number..... lucky Im a nice fella with a paper shreder

I was quoted $25 per "section" for a '69 Camaro if I provided the seatcovers. That means, all they would do is recover them with the supplied covers. It will cost $50 for the rear seat and $50 for each front seat.

But that is just a local guy here that does interior work for a living....

so $50 for install $100 for material that leaves $150 for craftsmanship So in think I can save and have the custon done.

Procar is working on a Nova cover but they are 6 months to a year away from production... I cant wait that long..

I paid around $300 last year to have my rears done to match the fronts, which included the fabric.

My seats are there now going to pick up tomorrow (monday) www.portagetrim.com (http://www.portagetrim.com) they do work for http://www.lobeckshotrod.com/so Im sure they will be sweet. Their site is a bit dated but they are a small operation and buisy with local work so the web isnt priority.
