Adjusting Idle after installing Vintage Air

I'm not sure if this should be posted here or in the carb section, but I've got a '67 camaro w/ a SBC 350 that I just added vintage air on, which is awesome by the way. I also added power steering and a serp kit at the same time. With all of the draw on the motor due to the extra accessories do I need to advance my timing or just bump up my idle, I'm running a 680 Quick Fuel Carb?

Just bump up the idle. You shouldn't have to deal with timing because that would put your total advance higher than it may need to be, unless you shorten the curve.

I just opened my idle up a bit, maybe another 100 rpm's. I think some factory set-ups used a solenoid to control this back in the day.

Didn't mention if the tranny was auto or manual....if auto, set the idle with the car in gear and A/C on.

It's a manual trans and I bumped up the idle today and took it around the block a couple of times. I think I finally got it adjusted just right.
      Thanks fellas

Sometimes when we bump the idle to compensate for the A/C drag, the car wants to run on when we try to shut it off with the A/C off. If it ends up idling to high when the A/C is off and does not want to shut off. Holley has a kick up solenoid that will but the idle 100 to 150 RPMs only when the A/C is on so the idle is not to high when the A/C is off.
