      package tray delete

      i am thinking about cutting out the package tray on my '69 camaro. i have seen it done on one car and it really make the inside look cleaner. with the 3 link and moving the seats back there is no room for a rear seat anyways.

      either way i need to make a rear firewall and i know this will kill alot of trunk space but it will make things easier when building the rear part of the cage.

      what do you guys think?

      Something to keep in mind The package tray and rear firwall are important parts of the body structure so you will have to do some reinforceing of the rear strructure to keep the body straight.

      i could tie the body to the cage with some hole punched sheet metal.
