      Paint on sound deadener seams

I was thinking of putting a protective type paint, like Rust Bullet Back Shell (because I have some extra), on the seams of the sound/vibration damper I installed (used RAAMmat BXT and BXT II) to cover up the sticky seams to make it easier to work on the car without creating a mess. It would also make a better seal so if water was ever spilled in the car it wouldn't get under the RAAMmat.

      Anyone ever try that?

      Did it work well?
