Do you guys know if anything like this has been made.
I did a search but came up empty.
I was looking at getting the usual cone set up but I think it would be cooler to hook up to my cowl hood.
Thanks
Bill

I'm thinking of doing the same thing. My thought is to install a FAST or similar injection system. That way it would basically look like a carb setup.

I wanted to keep the stock intake from the LS

Not quite the same, but the '97 Camaro SS's used the same idea

How about hooking it up to the rear, intake via the cowl vents by the wiper arms? (Intakes on ls1's can be turned around 180 degrees and bolted back on, they do that on GTM kit cars to get the air intake facing the rear)

Or to the grill-- (ProBell's car - functional ram air)

i've always wondered why people don't just put a 180 degree bend off the throttle body that goes to an airbox mounted on top of the engine that uses a regular 14" round air cleaner that fits into the opening in the hood just like a stocker with a carb would do..
