ATS oil pan relocation filter

using ATS oil pan with 2 AN#12 90's for use with a remote filter. What are you guys using for relocating the oil filter and what type are you using? Pictures please.

Canton makes a nice billet mount.. uses a rather large filter.

The offer a chevy filter as well, but the Ford one was reccomended as I recall

I used a CV Products remote mount. One thing I will say, use a high quality remote mount, some of the cheap TransDapt types are very restrictive.

I think mine was the CV745

And use good fittings.. some fittings are more restrictive than others.

Thanks guys. It looks like the remotes have smaller ports than the #12's located on the pan. If I use the 1/2" remote I'll be okay? Just run a reducer at the oil pan and a #8 up to the filter and that will be big enough?

You can try this one like I got for my Chevelle...

The only problem you might run in to is it uses the "HUGE" HP6 oil filters.

Here it is side-by-side with a K&N HP-3002...

The opening in the middle of the big filter is 1.25" !

You'll need -12 x 1/2 npt adapters for the remote oil filter end and then run -12 hose from pan to filter adapter.

We have now come up with a complete remote mount,filter and line and fitting kit. all black line and fittings billet filter mount and filter.

Also we have the line and fitting kit for the LS7 dry sump plumbing
