69 camaro how big can i go?

Ive read the plus sizes chart and many different post but iam still unsure how big of a tire and whats the correct offset/backspacing to keep it all under the wheel wells. I have a 69 camaro convertible with global west A arms,coil overs wildwood 12.80 disc front and rear. Stock rear end housing. How big and what offset do I need without having to tub the car . I want to run 17" wheels. Any help would be appreciated.

275/40/17s on a 17x9.5 with 5.5 BS.

How big could you go with a stock tub but no leafsprings?

Same. It is the tub and not the spring that limits wheel widths. If you widen the tub then you would need to move the spring out of the way.

hey man, listen up all you got to do is 275/40/17 back 245/40/17 front, 17-9.5 5.5bs 17-8 5bs dont go any more or less 5 thats the key, heres a link to my pics.
