SSSooo I'm in the market for wheels:

Sub $800 or $1000 (cheaper the better)

18 x 8 to 8.5, prefer 18 x 9 (Front)

18 x 9 to 9.5 prefer 18 x 10 (Rear)

would like to stay away from Torque Thrust style

open to BMW wheels (just need to know who has the hub centric rings for them)

To use the BMW wheels what info do I need to have to give to the wheel dealer?

I have an A Body (72' Lemans), so a certain offset (mm) I should look for?

I've seen Coy's wheels website

Group A website has ROH wheels (best option yet)

Any info on this is appreciated. The more detailed the better ESPECIALLY where the BMW wheel approach is concerned.

thanks!!!

Ok... figured out for ease & cost... gonna go down the torque thrust route....

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-142-8961GM12/

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-142-8861GM6/

the front is 18 x 8.5 with 5.5 backspace

Tire will be a 245 or 255 x 35 (if possible)

I don't see & haven't found any issues with this... My question is for the rear:

Rear 18 x 9.5 with 5.75 backspace (it can be gotten in a 5.25 bs)

Tire will be a 295 x 35

Will the backspacing be ok?

Will this clear ok? Or should I look at using a 275 on the rear

CHANGE OF PLAN.... went with front is 18 x 8.5 with 4.5 backspace as I've seen LOTS of A body's with this on the front for clearance of the front sways.... the rear is still the same as above...
