Need Help.... On Some Cheap wheels Please!

Hey guys, I'm looking for some wheels for the Galaxie. I don't want to buy Forgelines twice, so I need to find some cheap wheels that will clear C6 Z51 front brakes.

It looks like most 18's will clear and maybe "some" 17's. I'm game for any ideas you guys have. Everything from tuner wheels to stock replacements to TT2's if I have to.... dangit lol.

      Requirements:

      - 5 x 4.5 bolt pattern
      - Must clear C6 Z51 brakes
      - Wheel Rite says maximum of 4.5" backspace
      - Cheap as possible
      - No more than 8" rim width

Right now, I'm looking at these (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-142-8865GM6/) even though I HATE TT2s.

Basically, I need the cheapest thing I can find until I build my chasis and set it up for 295's all the way around.

      Thanks guys!
      JC Scott

So the ones you posted are around $150, that's going to be hard to beat.

Here are some others, just slightly more expensive:
      Polished Torq Lite - $180

I think the square spokes would complement the cars' body lines, and If you paint the centers charcoal, I think they would look real nice.

Those Coys are pretty slick. I don't really like TT2's, but I do like the Summit and the Boss 338's. The more I price wheels, the more I like some of these newer options. I just wish they made a 10 inch width.

These are pretty cool too. Especially with a dark center.

Those are cool, but for the money and "style" of the TT2s (even though I hate them), I think the the TT2s would be better on resale. When I'm ready for my Forgelines.

These are cool too, and I've always loved the look of your car!

The cheapest 18" C-67 on the Coy's site is $200 and I'd have to get some spacers because the BS is 4.75.

      These wheels are BAD ASS!

Sucks that the offset is +40mm.... I don't think that will work at all... lol

      Anybody else have some ideas?

I will put anything on this car to get it back on the road.

      18" spares?

      Factory truck wheels?

      ANYTHING! Whatever's cheapest....

No idea if they offer 5 x 4.5, but TSW has some pretty cool styles. I'm using the Londrina on my '68. 18x9.5 all the way around. Many wheels are offered in low/medium offsets.

Edit: The only thing I haven't researched fully is the center hole bore size. FYI.

I guess I figured I couldn't beat the summit deal for beater wheels, so I ordered one to see if it fit. I guess I'll be ordering three more. They should fit pretty well, but might have to roll the rear fender lips a little.

      Anyways, here it is:

Hard to beat $612 shipped. Should get me back on the ground until I can get the Forgelines. Thanks for all of your help guys!

These may be the answer. They are available the 5 x 4.5 bolt patterns for the new mustangs. Not sure on the backspacing, but they do have a little Forgeline flare to them: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-Ko...item2a084e6955

I will leave the last post up because those are some cool wheels and may change your mind, but I think the Summit wheels look pretty cool. This computer at work doesn't always download the pics on a page and I missed the pics with the Summit wheel mounted up.
