You all may recognize this from it's previous owner, carnalsupply. I was able to take it off his hands about a month ago and relocated it from left to right coast. Unlike most of the others who tried to buy it to return it to stock, I bought it because it was virtually what I would have built myself so I won't be changing it drastically, just pushing it further! Most importantly I'll be driving it most days and flogging it on the track on a regular basis. Hopefully soon!
Near future plans include:
0.Chassis dyno at The Vette Doctors next week (0.5 mile from my place!) to get some current numbers. Was reportedly >600HP at the crank with the previous Hilborn IR intake, expecting ~50HP less.
1.Double-adjustable QA-1 rear shocks to replace the weak ones on it
2.Still pondering the double-mount rear spring which would require removing the trac-bar and drilling a few holes. I would really like adjustable spring rate, though I guess I could just buy a second spring for less and probably switch it out just as fast!
3.Rack & pinion steering (Steeroids?) to complete the modernization.
4.Replacing the refurb'ed 4.11 gears with a built 3.55 or 3.70 unit, gotta break 20mpg highway! (Currently 18.3mpg believe it or not.)
5.Replacing the L88 replica (for sale!) with the original LT-1 hood which will require coming up with a custom very-low aircleaner to fit.
6.Also putting a stock-type shifter on the TKO-600 to replace the pistol-grip, and an original-type radio (though I'll keep the speakers and wire in a hidden mp3 player aux-in hookup.) That'll complete the return to originality, can't bear to do away with the wheels, much less go back to 15"s.
7. That's about it though I want to fab up a trailer hitch to carry race tires, and since the spare won't fit with the fuel pump where it is I want to make a custom storage box to fit that space. Beyond that I'll just fix what I inevitably break!
Edit: 8. Forgot one: With all this go, I need some slow. Upgrading to Wilwood's big brake kit, probably front only.

Shows aren't my thing but decided to give it a shot. 3rd in class with very little prep isn't too shabby I guess.

Probably the only apartment on Long Island with a 16'x40' garage attached! Excuse the moving mess...
