I'm starting to look for new wheels to clear my C5 front and rear brakes and I'm considering 18" all the way around or 19" in the front and 20's in the rear. On a 70 what is the backspacing needed for fron and back?

I was thinking a 9" wide wheel in the front and a 10" in the back.

Thanks

I run a 18x9/18x10 combo on my '70,wheels by Bonspeed, setup by Jon @ www.driverzinc.com ...specs are as follows:

18x9 (5.5" b/s) 275/35 Nitto N555's
18x10 (5.75" b/s) 305/35 Nitto N555R (drag radials)

My car has completely stock fenders with factory wheelhouse mouldings...no fitment or rubbing issues.

I love the look of these wheels on my car...:smoke:
I have had everything from 14's to 20's on this car before and I like the 18's best although a well-done 18/19 combo looks killer too if done right.

AZSaleen, we can help you clear those brakes without an issue at all, and we can nail the backspace / offset for you too, based on your ride height, rear exhaust, etc. Give us a call or send us an email.
