      20's on my 66 Coronet

Car is mini tubbed with RMS Street Lynx rear suspension (triangulated 4 bar) and stock front suspension w/ KYB Gasmatics. Was thinking about some 20's Torq Thrust II style in chrome. 20X10 in rear with 3.5" backspacing (current running 15X10 - 3 3/8" BS w/ a 315/60/15 MT Et Street) - I have about 1 more inch clearance on the inside between my current tire and the frame rail. 20X8.5 in front - not sure what will clear here. I bought one of those do dads to measure but haven't tried it out yet to see what might clear.

What do you guys think about these working or not?

Going from a 15x10 to a 20x10 will mean that the tire bulge radius will be at a totally different location, and will mean you will need more backspace on a 20x10 than what you had on your 15x10, most like at least .50", FYI. It'll help you during your wheel search too, because most 20x10s have a min backspace of about 4" anyway.

I would suggest our website, www.driverzinc.com, and browse through the wheels. Bonspeed, Schott, Rushforth, even NewGen for nice custom wheels. Don't know what kind of budget you are on, but if you can call, we'll work with you.

If you are locked into some Torq Thrusts, we can help you with those too, but I would suggest not running the chrome two piece Torq thrust as they only chrome the center, and not the entire wheel, and the wheel finish will show their differences as time progresses.
