Anybody use one of there pans? Looks like a quality piece and is nice that it is cast like an OE pan. Considering this as an alternative to an AutoKraft pan for my Nova project.

Isn't there a GMPP LSX swap pan that's like $250?

That is the Hummer H8 pan and it hangs too low for a first gen F body (or A body). The RetroLSX pan is the same height as the F body pan but is not as deep front to back which makes it a good choice for conversions. I think I'm going to use one on my GTO. I like the idea of a cast conversion pan.

I've been following the thread on ls1tech for a while. He seems to have disappeared. Won't answer questions/pm's/phone calls. Just a heads up.

As near as I can tell he is still selling and shipping the pans on ebay. The guys on ls1tech are chasing him for the conversion kits that he promised before he could deliver so he seems to be ignoring them.

Works okay for the bigger cars... on the Camaros it hangs well below the subframe. If you are adventurous you could probably run one :look:

Jess.....That is the pan you want, its the one I was telling you about, cast at the same location as other GM pans. The GM Performance Parts pan hangs down to low as others have mentioned here.

I ordered one of these pans to use on my LS3 with Chassisworks subframe. I will post photos of fitment when it arrives next week.
When I called to order it, the guy Shawn answered the phone, placed the order, and shipped it the same day. FYI

That MAST pan looks great. I like the shallow front depth. That will help a lot with A body installs where the center link hits the pan. Any ideas on price?
