Alum frame seats
Ok, need some info help. Friend had a pair of seats. Someone was going to throw them away years ago, and he picked them up. He was going to do a project in house, but gave up on the project. He gave them to me and said I could use them to trial fit. He was not sure if they were Proto type seats or what.
They have a Steel base (mounting) and one even has electric motors in it. But the back framing appears to be Alumn., from what I can see. Do you guys think these are legitimate seats? If so, I could have them recovered and save some change.

OK, after removing the bottom hardware, the one with electric motors had a "Saturn" sticker on it. Also the foam had a July 1995 date. Does anyone have a pic of a 95 or 96 Saturn or Vette seat? I was in a rush and dropped them off to be re-upholstered and didn't take a picture of them. So much for before and after...lol. The pull knob to move the back of the seat forward, is in the center back of the seat.
Ah ha! found it, 97 - 2004 plain jane Corvette seat. Google....
