I talked to John today at CCW he mentioned using the 19/18 combo 1 piece forged wheels on my nova. I think that that might be to big for a chevy II. What do you guys think.

what are prices like on a set of 18x8's / 18x10's? I really like the classics, I don't need center caps, so the track model would be cool.

Give John a call. He quoted me "around $2k" for the street version (center caps, come other little bits) for 18x8s and 18x12s. Seems like a deal to me.

Make shure you know what you getting with the track model. I am going to ASSume that the track model wheels have a high content of magnesium or at least some material that makes them lighter then the street model; which also makes them more prone to cracking. Track wheels are made for nice smooth RACE TRACKS, not pot hole infested city streets.

Street model just looks a little better. Polished ARP bolts and include the center cap.

I believe the only diff between the street/track model is lightening holes in the center inbetween the lug holes and inbetween the bolts that mount the rims to the center.

I also weighed my 18x11 classics with 315/30/18 bfg drag radials and they weighed in at 51 lbs. I have the street version with the stainless hardware and no center caps.

call ccw direct, good people to talk to, I highly recommend them.

Yeah, from the site I couldn't glean that there was a huge difference, thanks for the advice though. I'll certainly call them when I get closer to that time.
