Anybody use this stuff? I'm looking to get a new intake manifold and want it to look nice. I have a few options and so far this looks the best. I don't want it to yellow if gas gets on it. The first one I was looking at was the Endurashine that cost around $350. I've read it yellows. The second is polished that cost $420. Big $$$. The last is a standard manifold that cost $199. (Victor Jr). Then I could coat it for $40.

I haven't used that particular product from POR, but I can tell you that the regular clear over unpolished aluminum will yellow and consequently look shatty.

What do you mean regular? This is a 2 part epoxy.

I've used the Glisten PC with good results. No yellowing and durable.

Anyone know what size spray tip I should use?

In my case I brushed it on and it flowed out. This was on a gas tank but the finish was very smooth.

POR has a regular clear topcoat(without catalyst) that is UV sensitive and will yellow out....even on a transmisson that never sees the sun.

Did it come out nice? Glossy? Did you brush or spray it on?

JUNK, powdercoat or use a good clear. That stuff will yellow in no time!

I called back POR15 and a new tech DID NOT recommend using it. He was concerned about the heat and yellowing. Well that leaves me a clear coat or polished manifold. I don't know.....

Never had that problem unless you have a gas leak issue. Been doing it for a couple years now.
