View Full Version : Isis system and radiator fan controller?

I haven't bought the Isis system yet but plan to. I'm currently ordering a autorad and need to know if I should order the fan controller? Will the Isis system make the $100 harness not required?

you will still need a controller to have the fan temp-based. the ISIS kit supplies a signal wire to turn it on/off (tan wire from power cell #1).

Does the Isis eliminate the need for the relays?

Does the Isis eliminate the need for the relays?No. ISIS PowerCells support up to 25A. Most fans need 30A during their initial kick-on. The ISIS-recommended method is to use the fan wire as the positive part of a fan relay.
