So among my long list of things to do to my 68 Camaro is have not just heat but a/c out of my vintage air kit.

I just spent several hour yesterday figuring out where my leads are on the A/C compressor.

Normally with the Gen 1 vintage air kit I have it gets wired as follows:

+ > evaporator control knob > binary switch (pressure switch) > compressor. - compressor to ground.

Any reason I can put the binary pressure switch in the ground circuit? So it goes:

+ > evaporator control knob > compressor. - compressor > binary switch > ground

Having to run the power wire all the way out to the binary switch which is on the drier canister on the condenser and then back round to the firewall and back to the compressor would be several hours of extra work over my suggested route for me.
