My DD is a point A to B vehicle. Usually I don't worry much about what shoes on it, as long as the price is right.
This time, instead of factory replacements, for a little bit less $, I bought a high performance tire. Very glad I did. The General Exclaim are quieter, smoother riding ,crisper turn-in, and more stable than the Eagles touring tires ever were. The UHPs out perform the LSs in every area (except of course snow, which is not an issue here).
I'll definitly be researching when it comes time to replace the wife's tires. I already have a set picked out which are a hair wider (without rubbing) and will outperform the factory ones in every category (including snow since it's the long distance hauler), but it's a ways off, so we'll see if something better comes along in the meantime.
No more plain tires for me! Just thought I'd share.
