      12" ls1 brakes with 16" v45

I presume they will fit but before I go out and get everything (brakes) it would be nice to know for sure. I called vintage wheelworks and they didn't have much to say. I know that a few guys have used 13" j55 c4 stuff with a spacer but that caliper is smaller also. Thanks, SS

see if they can make a template for the rims or go out to a show that they are attending to see. I remember some WS6's running 16's?? i can't say for sure.

I'm going to be using this setup with the v40s, and I'm going to have to run a spacer. Looks like 1/8" is going to make it all work. Of course I haven't actually bolted it all together yet, just laid the parts into the rim, it just looked to close to me.

      Check out tihs

It may solve your questions and provide you with the answer you are looking for. There are two different set-ups that work with a whole bunch of wheel off-sets.

Thanks but according to them none of the T-classic front kits will fit my V45s. Chicane didn't you run some big brakes with those wheels? SS

The problem I think is that the caliper actually contacts the face of the rim, not the hoop. There is a small chamfer that joins the rim center to the hoop, and that is where the caliper contacts. You'd need a deeper rotor hat to avoid running a spacer.

Exactly what Nancejd said- I had Newstalgia send me a TTII to test fit (as most companies use the same hweel hoops). That's the area that comes closest.

      Yeah, I ran the 13" C4 set-up with a simple 3/16" spacer in a set of 16x8 V45's.

Its the stiffening bead around the wheel face (or center) to the barrel of the rim that comes into contact with the caliper itself. Funny as it is, the spacer was only required with a fresh set of pads...... once they have worn a little, they fit just fine.
