looking to get new rims.
i have heard guys getting 305's on a stock chevelle.
i am on a budget so no $500 a rim money here.
i am thinking of running 18" rims, maybe 17" if i run out of money.
what width rim, offset and backspace do i need?
thanks

Will these work? I bought these for my 70 Monte but the guy didn't like custom wheels and he wanted the rally's...YUK..
These are brand new and there is a spare rear wheel with a small nick in it. I can get more pics if interested.

John,
Those photos look AWESOME. I like the side shot, from down low... that's a "DriverzInc angle" right there if I ever saw one. Can we use it for our website? If so email it to
[email protected].
Thanks dude!

Sorry, your right they're 11" wheels in the rear...brain fart on my part. The tires are 315/30/18 R888's. Probably 1/4" or a little less clearance inside and outside. The rear quarters are new but the lip is still there because the clearance gets tight above that anyway. I was nervous about deflecting the suspension laterally enough to cut the tire on the lip but there were no issues on the road course. I'm running rubber bushing in the upper ears on the dif and either poly or johnny joints everywhere else.

How do the drag radials do for street driving? Plan on a similar set up on my 68 chevelle?
Thanks
