So I had a guy come by and give me a free estimate on some outrageously expensive gutters for my house. In return I received a hot water heater blanket for each of my two hot water heaters.
The stuff is like bubble wrap covered in polished aluminum foil.
My guess is it works better for heat than sound and will would work better in lower temperature application(i.e. not the center tunnel near the exhaust).
I did a search(hard to search for) and found one guy using in his headliner.
Is anyone else using this kind of product?
I was thinking door panels, behind interior trim(a, b, and c pillars)and under carpet under seats(where feet will not crush the bubbles).
What do you guys think?
Thanks
Brad
