Hi all,
I'm having a strange problem with my alternator. When the car starts, the alternator warning light stays on, albeit a little dimmer than before the car starts. However, when I put my digital multimeter across the battery, it shows 12.72V before starting the car and 14.07V when the car is running.
Clearly the alternator is charging the battery... so what could cause the warning lamp to stay on?
