I am putting on a new set of 17" wheels and need to lower the front end aproximately 1-2" to give the front and rear of car the same stance. Looking for a shortcut as I just installed stock ride height Moog springs before I bought the new wheels and was looking at coil spring 2-way adjusters and stabilizers. Someone mentioned them to me and I found them in JC Whitney and they are dirt cheap (under $20 for both springs). Has anyone used them and if so what are the pros and cons. Thanks for the help.

I have no experience on JC Whitney other than curb feelers and windshield visors but why not cut your existing springs?...about 3/4 turn or 1" off total spring non compressed height thats good for a close to 2" drop.

Cut your springs. Thats as cheap and as easy as it gets and it works really well. Thats how I have my perfect stance. :)
I just used a grinder with a cut off wheel once I had the front springs out. Stay away from JC Whitney if you can.
