Ok, after flat spotting my front tires at El Toro, I need new ones. It is street driven mostly, but am trying to autocross soon.
Right now I have Goodyear F1 GS-D3 front and back.
245/40/r17 & 315/35/r17.
Well now Goodyear doesnt make the F1 in a 245/40, only 245/45. So I need a tire that I can get in a 245/40, and also a 315/35.
Any suggestions, I am looking at tire rack tonight.

Throw the fronts in the back and due some custom rounding burnouts, LOL:firefire:

Unfortunately, the flat spot is down past the tread depth.
I am looking into Nitro tires now.

Nitro? or Nitto?
And don't feel bad, you aren't the only one with spotted tires!

Don't ask me, Toyo R888 is the only tire I know. RA-1 before that. Havent run anything else in 8 years. Probly not a good idea if its your daily driver tho.

Nitto makes the invo in those sizes. And its a 220/260 tread wear which is almost perfect for the events like el toro

I really like the nitto nt05. Good all around and has decent treadware.
The price is right too.

Well after a long search, I think I got the last two GS-D3 tires in America. Should be back up and running Thursday.
I am going to be looking at Nitto and Toyo for the future.
