I did a search, and found the recaro versions of this installed in a classic car, but i couldnt tell what it was, or how they did it.

The seats in question are from a 1989 4 door BMW E30. Look exactly like this, but tan in colour.

The seat is almost exactly the same height as the A-body buckets currently in the car. They are a bit skinnier and the bolt pattern is different.

I think the bolt spacing width is 13 vs 17 (A vs. BMW).
I think the length is 15 vs 12 (A vs, BMW).

Has anybody used these seats? Is there a fabricateable way to adapt these? Or would i need to resort to aftermarket brackets?

Well I'm not sure about the mounting brackets.... but if you take 4 door seats and put them in a 2 door, they may not fold forward to gain access to the rear seats...

Thanks for the link. Youre right they dont fold back, but i dont think anyone ever sits in the back.

So the general concensus from that thread was to bolt through the floor and reinforce with angle iron. Not sure about that, but ill see.

I like your method of using the mounts you can, and fabbing up the rest.
