Heres my 79 Malibu project. I havnt worked on it for over 6 years.
Had it down at my farm in the barn. I did a frame off on it back in 96' when I was "just" going to repaint it.Then it turned into a frame off.
It has all the hotchkis control arms in the rear. In the front it has the 12" B body spindle swap with the Hotchkis upper arms and tie rod adjusters, and has a monte carlo SS steering box. I have for it a set of bilstien shocks and Eibach springs. I do not have sway bars yet.
I know some people say the suspension is not up to par for superb handling but back in 96' this was the hot set up,I thought.
I have the 19"s off of my 95' camaro under it in the photos just to get an idea. I know I have to notch the rails and the widen the wheel tubes. On to the pics.
The rear wheels are 19x10.5 with 295/35 bfg's

The fronts are 19x8 with a 245/35 seem to fit really well

Heres a shot of the somewhat smoothed fire wall and the frame/suspension

Heres ashot of the front end mocked up. I found the elcamino chin spoiler at a swap meet for $10 bucks!

Heres a shot of the dash..Its an Idea, The panel is out of a pontiac.I like the way you can run 7 gauges and still have the a/c vents.

Heres a pic of the Recaro seats I found in the salvage yard. They're out of a late 80's/early 90's BMW if I remember right. It bolted down to the out side seat mounts with out any modifing. I have to fab up some mounts by the tunnel because the car was an origanal bench seat car.

I know its not a high dollar 69' camaro but I dig it!
