What's wrong with actually getting some exercise again?

They could make a "manual" model that folds up just as neatly, I suppose. No bike rack needed to park it in, just fold it up and store it by your desk at work.....
I doubt the battery would hold out long enough to make my 50 plus mile trek into work and back home everyday, beside that, they just didn't provide anywhere on that model to put my 2 kids and their school books when I pick them up in the evenings....LOL
I ride/run/workout for excersize anyway, so it doesn't bother me either way.

$4,500? All that carbon fiber costs, doesn't it?

Hmm maybe a combination of light rail systems in the urban areas, and use a contraption like this one to get to/from the rail stations to the office or parking hub would work in large cities, but $4,500! cut that in half, and have the city offer some tax incentive, and it could get a foothold.
And just where are the cupholders ? lol
Our downtown area has Segways tours, and it is really popular, but it's still kind of funny to watch them, I think they should wear propellerheads...lol
