Tail light issue

ok left flasher works good right one bulb stays on..changed flasher and bulb ..could it be in the switch in column?? any ideas??

What happens when using hazards?
Single flasher system?
When you say right one do you mean right side or one of multipel bulbs on the right side stays on.

just tried hazards and both tail lights blink..seen edit above and was only looking at tails i will look at all right side stuff now that you bring it up..thanks

One thing that you can do to check for a bad switch is to switch the green and yellow wires on the plug about half way down the steering column. This will cause each side to use the opposite side of the TS switch.

Did you change both bulbs?

well the 2 fronts turn and marker lights will not work at all and all bulbs everywhere are good i pulled the ones out of other side and swapped them all and they all work..even bought some new ones and tested them..

ok got the rear turn light going ended up there is 2 flasher modules 1 for the 4 ways 1 for the turns..i over looked that..it was bad now i still need to see why my 2 front marker lights arent working..back to garage ..with test light in hand..thanks for the help guys..!!

ahh ok ..not too far im near kankakee..

i checked the socket with a test light and have power to one side just like all the other but no matter how many bulbs i put in there none of them work..can pull one from other side that works put it in pass side and nothing..very strange..

reverse your test light and go from battery + to the ground on the socket and see what happens.

i found the probs..the bananna marker light ended up being the plug farther down the line had corrosion a soak with elect cleaner and works good as for side marker the ground somewhere is bad cause i used a small multimeter poker and grounded it and it came on..thanks for all the help guys ..thats why i love this forum..
