Anyone have the seats out of their 1st gen f-body?? If you do could you measure and post the bolt spacing from side to side for the seats mounts on the bottom of the seat??? I need to compare them with the 75 deluxe T/A seats I want to use in my 67 'Bird. I hope to be able to use the bottom portion of my 67 seat tracks with the top portion form the 75. But it will only work if the bolt spacing is the same. So what I need it the side to side bolt spacing on the bottom of the seats for both front and rear. Again I need the seat bottom measurements not the floor pan.
Thanks

Just as an FYI the measurements from side to side are 13.5". Which matches the spaceing on my 75 seats. So I should bve able to merge the two tracks to make one that works in my 67 'Bird. I plan to try it this weekend before I have the tracks blasted for a proper rebuild.

If the seats aren't power seats, take a look at the four bolts that actually mount the seat rails to the bottom of the seats. You may be able to unbolt the later seat rails and bolt the later seats to your original rails. I did it this way when I put Bonneville seats in my Caprice. I wish I had known this when I installed 96 seats in my 68. I had to make adapter plates that bolted to the floor instead and the whole seat sits higher than the original seats.

I have a set of stock seats sitting in my shop. I'll try and get the measurements tomorrow if you still need them

Thanks. I have the info I needed. The spaceing matched the seats I wanted to use. So looks like it "might" be a simple swap. But, if the seat rails are still attached a cpl of pics of the underside would be helpful. I can see how all the springs were connected.

Ok. I'm sorry it took an extra day to get back to you. I have the pictures of the underside ot the seat with the attached springs. I'm not smart enough with my computer at the moment to shrink them so I can post them for you. If you don't mind PM me an email and I will send them.
