      Sick to my stomach

I have DSE minitubbed my 67 camaro convertible and put some 17x11 famosa's on rear and I have about 3 inches of space inbetween my rims and the fendor. My tires on the back are 315 35's. I put the 2 inch drop on the rear suspension from DSE. I still have the old tires on the front. I am getting exhaust put on and the car aligned. I dont think the old tires will make a difference because they are probably taller than the rear. I am pretty disappointed that I have that much space inbetween the tire and the fendor. Any suggestions? Am I jumping the gun here with only the rears on?

I would check to make sure that you have the correct shackles on the rear of the car.

No thats about right for the 2" drop spring. Let it settle and then adjust. A 1 inch block or dearched springs might soothe your pain.

I have the same size wheel with the 3" drop springs, and my clearance isn't much closer. I was told that it had to settle and will get lower as you drive it a little. I have yet to put a full tank of gas in, so I'll just wait it out since I can't drive it yet - still doing bodywork.

I load it up with sand bags in the rtunk to put a little pressure on them. I use 400 lbs and let it sit a month, moved it a 1 1/2" or so after the sand was removed.

Do as above, and then you can get them de-arched. Alot of local shops should be able to do this including your alignment shop. I wouldn't worry too much.
