I'm thinking about buying a new moser rear and wanted to see what your option is on having the axle tubes shorten 3/4 in. on each side. I was thinking that this would allow me to get a wheel with a deeper outer rim. Are there any pros and cons to doing this? This will be on a 67 camaro that isn't mini-tubed. Thanks...

We made number 7 last year in Moser sales selling mostly Camaro rears. We wrote 2 orders today for Shorter Mosers for more deeper lip.

Call me tomorrow and we can save you some money and set you right up.

There are a couple things that have to be done to pull it off, a couple requirements, we will guaranty the fitment of the rear and your backspace, and save you money buying direct

Good looking wheels. How do they look when the tires are mounted? Oh WAIT!!! Thats them right? The thin black line? I thought that was paint. Hahaha.. Kidding.. The wheels look good, nice deep lip on them. JR

We have been using Currie for most of our rear ends as of late. They are very good people to deal with, and will build to our specs, or customers specs based on horse power, driving habits, hourse power, and vehicle application. If you are interested at all, let us know and we can talk more about rear end length, and what will work best for your applications. Quite often, when we build cars in house or when working with our customers we build the rear wheels to the specs we like aesthetically, then measure for our overall rear end length. And, no pressure. We're not concerned with being Curries #1 dealer, but more concerned that the end result is more what our customers want and that they are happy with the end result.

We deal with Moser almost daily. As others have said If your looking for a deeper rear wheel lip without mini tubes this is your best option. We can help you with any questions you may have, We can put together a rear end package and wheels that will fit your car with the desired look your after.
