where to buy bulk 60's interior fabric

[BA.]

Does anyone have any good place to buy a few yards of some 60's styled seat fabric? (ala GM's patterns)

SMS Auto Fabrics

ok I have to share this.

I gave SMS a call today, their website does say they're the largest! Seems like you could get damn near any interior fabric you want there.

Unfortunately,....when I called, it was like I was speaking a foreign language or something. I mean, I spent a good 10 minutes (or more) just trying to explain the stock GM material I was looking for to put into my 66 Impala convertible.
I finally just gave up from utter mental exhaustion.

I wonder if Jo-Ann Fabric has anything that would look mid-60's-ish?

They gave it, have not found anything they don't have. Best to find a pic and send it to them. They have thousands and thousands of patterns. The sales people may not be familiar with some of the odd requests

[Memphis]

Did you check out their site? I found the page to request about 50 fabrics used on the 66 Impala

Thanks to both. Yup, I had hit the web-site before calling.

SMS - $85/yard

Jo-Ann - $20/yard

You are right about the pricing, but I have not seen 60's GM interior fabric in my Jo-Ann. Maybe some 80's headliner material, and some 70's couch material.
