If you are looking for nice alternatives to the factory style bucket seats, you should imo look to a variety of factory examples over the years. I choose to look for obscure models you wouldn't think of looking at for these such as my recent favorite set of seats (both front and back) that I found in a 1991 Olds Toronado. These seats in operating condition which do need re-covered but are otherwise nice. They are dark grey leather with internal airbags for various seat and lumbar supports. They have awesome integral seatbelt retainers and under the consoel is the motors controls, relays, etc. for the seat controls. The switches have quite a few adjustments-front/back, reclining, lumber front/back, seat bottoms tilts up/down plus 8 total controls for seat and lumbar airbag inflations! The factory switches for the seat movements are in the door panel while the lumbar switch controls are in the center console. The rear seat has built in headrests that match the fronts and a center arm rest that extends down. The seats have a BMW-ish feel about them and are SUPER comfortable. I had to totally dis-mantle the dash for wiring access and let me tell ya-there's a LOT of wiring/controls for it. However, imo nothing beats the look of factory style leather bucket seats with cool controls. So stroll through your local junkyards-those kind of seats are literally there for the picking-nobody seems to snatch them out and they make very nice seats for building your interior around.

I have Procar Elites and like them. I built my own brackets out of 3x4 angle iron chopped into 4" wide sections.

the appear to "fit in" with my aftermarket gauges and shifter. For a bone stock interior, not so much.
