Grassroots Motorsports Magazine Review (http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/new-cars/2010-37-camaro-2ss-coupe/)
Had some fun shooting a less-than-technical comparison video between my 68 and a new SS. The 5th gen does awesome donuts! Link above will take you to the review. Scroll down for video.

I wonder if they are any "special" options you can order that the general public doesn't know about...hmmmmm

I just got a look at the production convertible over in the RWD Studio a few minutes ago. Amazing how well this car translates to a rag top.

It was all kinds of fun. There is something about driving a press fleet car that makes you do bad things. I also got to borrow the car for an overnighter. Had to show the neighbor the Manufacturer plates. Took the wife and kid out to dinner. Afterwards, they were both "Blah, Blah, Blah" at the same time. I thought.... "I can stop this. I have the power...." One clutch dump and two gear changes later, they were both perfectly quiet for the next 7 seconds. It was awesome.

Then the kid yells "Faster! Faster!" I lifted. I like the car enough to buy one. I just need to get acclimated to the ergos. They should clearance the headliner so that we can raise the seat and then all will be well.

If you think it's low in that car don't sit in one with a sunroof.

I'll have to remember this one Steve. I like...
It's good to here someone else's review of the Camaro. After my mods, it would be intuitive to get your opinion. Are you going back to Motor State?

Yup. We'll be at Motor State.

I've heard the sunroof cars are bad, T. To clarify, I have adequate headroom if I sink the seat. But if I want visibility over the dash and cowl, I prefer to raise the seat.
I was poking at the headliner to see if there is room for improvement. It feels like there is some room. Recesses above the front seats should be as deep as the recesses above the visors. Then I could jack my seat up a little higher to improve visibility over the cowl.

Other than that, I love the car.

Please beg whoever is in charge of colors to get off their ass and offer HUGGER ORANGE.

I will buy a hugger orange 20XX Camaro ragtop.

Thanks!

However I still haven't recieved an answer to Larry's issue yet in regards to his calanders and the image rights.

You won't be able to. At least the car. It will be constantly surrounded by tire smoke. Kinda like pigpen.

LOL, I had a suspicion you'd gone to work for GRM. Glad to hear it.

What kind of MPG are they getting out of that Mazdaspeed-3. The Subie crapped out on me and depending on the repair costs, I may be needing a new DD.

LOL, just figured without the spike, you could gain another 3 inches clearance......

the MS3 has 260 HP (before mods) and 3200 pounds (more like 3400). Mileage is only like about 18 to 20 combined. Probably less than the Camaro SS.

Tough to get a mountain bike in the back of the Camaro though.

I think I'm good now. I just removed all the names GM owns.

I have a suggestion:
http://www.kbb.com/kbb/CompareCars/Report.aspx?CompareCarsVehicleIds=251720-256197-0-0-0&CompareCarsSelectionHistory=&SelectedTabIndex=3

Of course I am biased with my 26.8 MPG commuting into LA.
