Has anyone mounted their fuse panel in the trunk? I have a 67 GTO project going, and I want the firewall smooth. I have everything welded up now and have begun mocking up the mounting locations for the Vintage Air, MSD, coil, and fuse panel on the inside of the firewall. Room is being eaten up fast and the only one that could really be mounted somewhere else is the fuse panel. My battery is in the trunk, so there is actually some utility in mounting it back there. It would be alot easier to get at as well, instead of having to crawl up under the dash to wire the car. I am just concerned about voltage loss to some of my heavier current users like the lights, horn, and electric fan since I'll be running the wires quite a bit farther. Any advice and/or pics would be great!

It should be ok. You could add relays for items up front like Headlights and the horn. Just be aware that you will have a decent amount of wires being routed to the trunk.

DSE did it in their yellow car years back.
