Final piece of the puzzle
Ordered the final piece of the puzzle today from Global West. I got the Upper and Lower tubular control arms, after weeks of trying to decide which ones to go with (dse, speedtech, global ect.) I went with the Global West uppers and the lowers for coil overs. Only to find out I missed the bus and they were out of stock and I have to wait a couple of weeks before they will even have any to ship! I already have Qa1 coil over kits, Wilwood disc brakes a DSE mini tub kit with the stainless fuel cell, Budnik M5 17x11 wheels for the rear with Michelin pilot 335's and 17x8 with 265's for the front, Prodigy button headed stainless bolt kit, Vintage Air surefit A/C kit with a DSE firewall fill panel. I just have to put it all together now but thats half the fun of it! I wanted to thank evey one as I have had this car for 26 years now, it was my first car when I was 16 and has kept me out of alot more trouble then it ever got me into but I never really new what it was. It was always fast and I liked really fat tires front and back, I used to fancy it a canyon racer, all my friends thought I was crazy because they were putting front runners on thier cars and big hood scoops while I was buying sway bars and lowering my car. Then I stumbled on to this forum and found Pro touring was what I was looking for, so somewhat quietly over the last few months I have been following along and buying pieces for the puzzle so hence this post! Oh by the way Its a 67 firebird and if I can figure out how to post some pictures I will send some photo's along. It has a bad a$$ drive train to go along with the rest of the car!
