I am hearing more and more people running Falken tires....
Anyone here? Opinions? Bang for the buck?

I ran 225/50/16's on 16x8 Enkei's nearly 15 years ago and had no complaints. Nothing recent though...Michelin has been my tire of choice. Pirelli's also impressed me, the P7 to be exact.

I have Falken ZE 502's currently on my Cobra. I hate them! They are noisy, don't have a lot of lateral grip in the conrers and will not hold the power my car makes. I have sever traction problems even above 60mph with these tires. They do have decent tread wear and they have been great in the rain. Unfortunately when it comes to tires, ability in rain and treadwear are very low on my list of things I want.

I just put Falken FK451's on all 4 corners and I have no complaint with them. Road noise is minimal and performance is good for a tire in this price range.

Also, read the article on Project G28 In PHR, they just put a set on and did some testing, for what it is worth.

Typically cheaper tires (Falken is one I have personally tested) have very poor runout. They will almost always fail a road force test by quite a bit. Michelin by contrast typically have almost zero runout.
