Does anyone sell American Racing wheels here?

I'm thinking torq-thrust ll's for my 1981 Trans-Am, 18x9 in front and 18x10 in back, depending on what fits.

You can order american racing rims in custom backspace through summitracing and have them drop shipped for faster delivery free shipping and can even use a summit discount code on them. i had a rim delivered today and the wait was 3 weeks.I had ordered my custom backspace 200s from newstalgia 2 years ago and i waited like 8 weeks or more for 2 rims and i waited another two weeks then finally called to see where my other two rims are and they forgot to order them so another 8 week wait for the last two.just my story others will vary. maybe it was american racings fault.

Yea it was..... those wheels are just soooooooo common that they're not even cool anymore. But ultimately it is up to you, not us. Do what you like and enjoy it. I personally like to be different and not conform to the TT2 zombies....

Yea i know but no one really puts aftermarket wheels on the second gen firebird/trans-ams, which makes it that much more difficult to choose a look. And if they do they usually just go for the snowflake look but I personally like five spokes.

Dude...the fact that nobody's done it is good. That's an opportunity. If I hadn't near-stolen my forgelines I'd be running some sort of 5-spoke...

      some ideas:

      rushforth fuel--

      Rushforth Livewire:

      forgeline SP3P--

      Bonspeed Huntington--

      rushforth superspokes--

      Boze Tach:

      Intro v-rod--

These are just off the top of my head--and, depending on how your car looks, any one of them would look GREAT on a 2nd gen!

oh yeah, if you post a couple high-res shots of your car, I and others can photoshop almost any wheel you can dream of onto it so you get an idea of what it's going to look like.

We've all got so many bad stories about the AR custom shop,I wouldn't know where to start!! They are doing much better!!! The build time is coming right in line, and the quality is getting better. If you would like a quote please PM me or give me a call!! I think I can beat anyones price-right now-plus I will always ship four wheels or a wheel/tire package free!

Mitch is right, we're local to American Racing's custom shop now, and turn around time has been MUCH BETTER over the past few months, then over the past two years. TT2's are, and always will be a staple, but if you are going to pay for custom offsets, you should think about a billet wheel that will also build in custom caliper clearances, etc. Check out our website: www.driverzinc.com and perhaps the NewGen wheels.

I will have to agree with Drivers inc. If your paying for a custom off set save a little more and get a nice two piece billet wheel. Your options really open up at this point. There are several options for a traditional 5 spoke wheels.
Take a look at our web site and our image gallery. This will give you a good idea of all your options.

Ok I want something like this...

      http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2458763
      http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3347368

I'm not sure if the 18's fill out the wheelwells enough and the 20's look good but at different angles might look too big

Two options in custom if you like those wheels:

      Curtis Speed:

      NewGen Thrasher:

And if you want to keep it economical, we stock the Foose Legends in 17, 18, and 20s, and we blow them out the box with Nitto tires!

The New Gen Thrashers are a very cool looking wheel. I've seen them first hand and they possess that classic feel, but are offered with custom sizing and a bunch of options with the different finishes. Definitely worth looking into. IMO
